Sig Sauer Releases “Empower the People” Video Series with Kimberly Corban.

SIG SAUER is proud to present “Empower the People.” This 6-part series follows Kimberly Corban’s journey at SIG SAUER Academy as she learns just how important firearms training can be for the average gun owner.

Kimberly’s life was irrevocably changed when a stranger broke into her college-area apartment, held her captive for two hours, and sexually assaulted her. She immediately reported the crime to the authorities and served as the key witness in her attacker’s trial, successfully garnering a sexual assault conviction.

“I figured I was going to come here and I was going to be taught to put a lot of bullets down the range,” said Kimberly following her training at the Academy. “I thought that I was going to figure out how to shoot at a target. That’s not it at all. It’s the stance, it’s being aware of my surroundings, it’s the mental aspect of everything you go through before you get to that draw. I know that this is something that I need to pursue so much more.”
