300 Series Light

The Arisaka 300 Series Light is an illumination package consisting of the Arisaka 300 Series Light Body, Tailcap, and Malkoff Devices E1/Scout head. Simply add an aftermarket Scout mount of your choice for a complete lighting solution.

Per Malkoff’s specifications, the E1/Scout head has an output of approximately 250 out-the-front lumens, with a runtime of 45-60 minutes off a single CR123 battery. The reflector is a custom orange peel design from Don McLeish, which provides a blend of spill and throw suited for close to medium distances.

The 300 Series Light Body is manufactured without the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp found on Scout lights. This greatly increases the clearance for front sights when used in combination with the Arisaka Inline Scout® Mount or Offset Scout® Mount, and allows the entire light to be pulled in very close to the rail system.

The Arisaka Tailcap provides both momentary and constant-on functionality: the user can press the switch for momentary activation, and continue pressing forward until it clicks for constant-on. Clicking again will turn the light off. The Tailcap is built around Don Mcleish’s highly regarded McClicky switch, which many people use to repair older Surefire tailcaps.

The 300 Series Light will fit in any aftermarket Scout® mount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body.

Arisaka 600 Series Light

The Arisaka 600 Series Light is an illumination package consisting of the Arisaka 600 Series Light Body, Tailcap, and Malkoff Devices E2/Scout head. Simply add an aftermarket Scout mount of your choice for a complete lighting solution.

Per Malkoff’s specifications, the E2/Scout head has an output of approximately 325 out-the-front lumens, with a runtime of 90 minutes off two CR123 batteries. The reflector is a custom orange peel design from Don McLeish, which provides a blend of spill and throw suited for close to medium distances.

The 600 Series Light Body is manufactured without the mounting interface for the stock Picatinny clamp found on Scout lights.

The 600 Series Light will fit in any aftermarket Scout® mount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body.
